It's been local news since last Thursday, I believe the original story that was reported locally was that there wasn't enough money in the fund but it looks like that may have been incorrect reporting from reading the DM link.

Nope, apparently there wasn't enough in the fund because she needs a specialist flight home rather than a commercial one.

The appeal was relaunched to raise money for the flight

I'm with RBS and seems I have been affected too. No Tax Credits have appeared in my account.

What I don't understand is if it's just technical issues, where is the money? RBS have no problem paying out money from my current account, although it looks as though my mortgage payment hasn't gone out of my bills account, but my money that should be coming into my account ie TCs isn't appearing.

Grrr!

DH has an RBS account and his pay isn't showing up today... Which means that he can't pay into the joint account

It had better go through before the mortgage comes out on Friday...

The mortgage might not go out on Friday (mine hasn't yet), but then of course that opens another can of worms...

Mortgage is with a different bank so can't see it not going out... It won't bounce though and hopefully we can argue any overdraft fees as they will be aware of the issues. I don't get paid until Friday...

I bank with RBS and my mortgage is elsewhere, it hasn't gone out.

It's bizarre. One of my accounts has had no payments paid out of since last Monday, whereas my other account is showing money I withdrew on Saturday, but not the Tax Credits I should have paid in today. It's all a bit random!
