Re: Who is going to an Olympic event? We are going to .....
All four of us are going to the ladies mountain bike event in Hadleigh, Essex. Great because we can just walk there! result.
Also it is a Saturday and we will be able to use the track once the Olympics is over, although greatly simplified.

4 days to go until Olympic football- really excited
but cross that our parking permit for the park and ride STILL hasnt arrived despite booking it 5 weeks ago
Apparently they have been sending out transport stuff in chunks depending what event you are seeing. Football has been one of the last I was told on Friday despite it being the very first event to take place
Clearly a man in charge of that one

If it's Hampden, you're welcome to park here and get the train from the bottom of the hill. Can all have a sleepover too if you don't want to drive back late in the evenig.

It's £5.60 return for an adult from here to Queen St and you can have 2 kids free per adult.

Mr Spouse is going this Thursday and he said it seemed like they couldn't give them away! But he's seeing GB so he's happy.
We're going to several paralympics events too (and Baby S is going to the paralympics equestrian!)
I skiied on the Whistler cross-country route before the athletes got to, just after it was set up (and I went all the way round the 5k and didn't fall over, either! We'll gloss over the time I took...)

We might do that then rather then have the hassle of topping up the online visa etc etc. The trainline app says £9.60 return with f&f railcard so only a little dearer than park and ride!
I'll give u a text later when I speak to dh to confirm.
