Sad day - definately make the most of life while you can
My friend lost her (short) battle with cancer this morning. She was only diagnosed about 6 weeks ago, tbh I had no idea she was so ill as it was only close family & friends that knew how bad she was.
She was 38, just got engaged earlier this year and has 2 girls age 11 and 1
Her life was just starting to fall into place as she'd been on her own with her eldest girl for years before meeting someone and settling down with him. She had just started a new job weeks before her diagnosis too.
It's times like this that make you realise life should be enjoyed as much as possible while you still can.

How terribly sad. I'm so sorry, RT.
And yes, it does remind us of how precious our lives are.

Oh RT I'm so so sorry. It's such a sodding hideous evil disease. I wish there was more that I could say. Life is so unbelievably unfair sometimes.
