    Well Woman Supplements

I have more or less decidedto stay away from herbal remedies (I'm just not sure about them) for now and try taking a well woman supplement to see if it helps with how I feel pre-menstrually and around the time of the month -- I get more tired when AF is here, but whenever I've had blood tests my iron levels are all ok.

I've been thinking about taking something like:

    http://www.vitabiotics.com/Wellwoman...oductinfo.aspx

or Magnesium OK with Starflower Oil/Omega 3/6/9 seperately as I'm not sure if I need everything contained in the Vitabiotics, and Magnesium OK seems to be more specific for hormone balance.

Sorry to be a pain, there is sooooooo much choice, and I can't decide what would be best

I've taken Wellwoman supplements before - I like the fact that it's a multivitamin and mineral as well as the Omegas. I wouldn't, personally, take one mineral (magnesium) on it's own without at least some of the others.

I take those wellwoman ones- I tend to alternate between those and the vitabiontics feroglobin (I think) ones as my iron is quite low and they are gentle on the stomach. They seem to work, in that I notice if I go a week or more without them!

    Re: Well Woman Supplements

I keep meaning to start taking a Wellwoman. I remember reading an article about what supplements you should take for the stage in your life you're at and for me (30s) it recommended a Vit B and a combined calcium/magnesium and when I used to take them both regularly I really noticed a positive change in my energy levels. Plus I think I was less stressed.

Let us know how you get on.

Oh, and to through another one into the mix, have you looked at Femergy? Think you get it on Victoria Health - the Beauty Bible women rave about it.

    Re: Well Woman Supplements

Hey, thank you for your replies. I wasn't going to post as I'm aware that I've posted a few times over similar topics, but I am glad that I did. I think I might try the Well Woman Vitabiotics first and see how I get on, it's probably cheaper than buying three separate supplements as well. Dillydally, the Magnesium OK is a mixture of vitamins, not just magnesium on it's own, I find the name very confusing though Zwinnie, I will have a look at Femergy supplements also.

    Thanks again.
