Rather than saying kay-tee the 't' gets lost somewhere, like when people don't say 'water' properly.

My niece is called Katie and even MIL (her Gran) calls her Kay-eh sometimes which I know really p!sses SIL off.

I like both of them, one of my other nieces is Sophie, and my sister is Louise! Bet that helps you

I do like Katie but if it was my daughter I would want her to be Katheryn/Catherine or something else that shortens to Katie.

Also agree with others than Katie pronounced without the 't' is not good
