Please help me find a girls' cardigan with no buttons.
Help!
DD1 is very fussy about what she likes to wear, only likes certain fabrics and will barely tolerate buttons.
I have a couple of these cardigans and she's decided she'd like some, maybe a couple in black for school (hurrah, she's never worn cardigans for school other than this thick, heavy woollen knee-length monstrosity) and maybe a couple of colours for at home.

Anyone seen any on their travels?

We have the same problem! My daughter is nearly 6 and still won't wear anything with buttons!
Jumpers are OK, as are fleece tops with zips! Can offer you some places in NZ to buy them - but sure some of the local girls will be up and about soon who will be able too offer you some better places to shop.

New Look have some, but not black as far as I can see: http://www.newlook.com/search/search...x=0&search.y=0
And how about a ballet shape cardigan, one that ties rather than buttons?
eTA: Hang on, here you go! I have this New Look one and it's nice: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/t...uctFind=search

There are a few on ebay

but all described as different things (I searched drape cardigan) so might be worth browsing

Yes it's tricky but if you find any on ebay they will probably say which make they are (ie the one in the link is from Sainsburys) and then you could also look there?

This may be a completely stupid question Bubblewrap, but can you not just remove the buttons and sow up the holes on normal cardigans? Might save a bit of hassle?

I've bought my dd black 'boyfriend' style cardigans in the past, which she wears to school. Got them from ebay - can't find where I got them, but they're like these:

Re: Please help me find a girls' cardigan with no buttons.
Will she wear buttons on shanks(the holes are on a little stick behind). My eldest is button phobic but will wear those if she really likes the item. School uniform, now at nearly 8 she will wear the polo shirt with buttons and the official school Cardigan to fit in, but the jumper is her safety net. She's worse when she's tired.
