A third vote for Pinterest
It is hard to judge colours because lighting and different times of the day make them look so different - one rule of thumb I always find useful is that over a wide area, colours tend to look a little bit darker, so if you are trying to decide between a lighter and darker shade of a similar colour, bear that in mind.

Re: How do I get decorating inspiration?
We have (well, I have
) decided on Mellow Mocha for the hallway and landing. It looks a bit more lilac-y in our light at home but it's a really nice colour.

For the dining room we're still not sure but DH likes the idea of a bit of colour in there as it's a light room. We've been offered some free paint in Willow Tree so might go with that, although I've never been a big fan of green but I do really like this colour.

Lu Lu we must have similar tastes because I have Mellow Mocha in my hall with Dusted Damson up the stairs and Graceful Green is going in the kitchen next weekend that is similar to Willow Tree (we tried both)
The mellow mocha is definitely more lilac-y than it looks in the book
