Single bed recommendations for a 3 year old

thats ok. For DS1 he had a standard ikea matress on his old single bed so we used that but actually its too thick, and means there isn't much of a "lip" round the bed, which is ok as he is older and it has the canopy anyway. There is one that is recommended with the bed, I don't know the name I'm afraid, which is a bit thinner and means there is more height from the top of the matress to the top of the frame iyswim. There is a marker on the wooden base showing the safe height of any mattress though.
