I bought a P&T sport (second hand) recently and when i recline the front seat, i notice theres a gap between that and the hood. Is there anything i can get to cover the exposed back bit?

Yes!

It's called a backflap and you can get them in PVC or mesh - the sport v1 versions is available online at Phil and teds website. The v2 one seems to be OOS, but the V1 one might fit.

Not sure tbh, we have an E3 which is even older! I think somewhere on the P&T website it explains the difference.
