I really am fed up of seeing those bloody ugly shoes!

She wears them all the time.

She looks great, is so pretty, has fabulous outfits, but there really is no need to look down because she's wearing those shoes again!

Aw, I like them. She's obviously not a "shoe" person and has chosen a pair that are neutral and don't fight her outfits. I'm sure she wears other ones too, but that wouldn't make an article!

I don't suppose she only owns one pair but I'd guess they're comfy and go with everything. Either that or she got a discount on a job lot

I agree with Sam. If she was wearing a new pair of Jimmies every outing, she'd get a kicking for ostentatious extravagance in an age of austerity.

I'm not suggesting she should have to buy new shoes all the time, it's just I don't think the nude shoes do anything for her outfits.

I think she'd get away with buying a few more pairs, she's spending enough on Alexander McQueen outfits and nobody seems to be moaning about that.

Well, Kate's obviously doing okay if the most critical comments she's receiving are about her shoes!!

I thought the shoes were pretty, but since I don't spend anything more than £45 on shoes, I'm obviously not the best judge of them!! (Slightly stunned that the article said that she should be wearing £600-800 shoes!)

I don't mind the shoes, I guess as she is doing a lot of walking/standing in high heels she likes them because they are comfortable and they don't detract from her outfit or anything like that.

Her sister and mum wear the nude ones all the time too. It's obviously a family tradition.

i think the shoes are great and she SHOULD wear them with everything but then
a) she is my hero and can do no wrong in my eyes

and

b) i loathe navy courts more than anything trivial i can think of - especially with a middle aged heel like that

I think they're both a bit granny-ish but then the outfits are quite formal so I suppose they match.

I read on some random thing about 'Royal Protocol' and they aren't "allowed" to wear an open toe shoe at formal state do's (not exactly sure on what occasions). Maybe that's another reason, she cba to get it wrong and step on someone's toes. boom boom.
