Re: Persistent child's verucca
I had about three really big ones under neath my toes. I tried everything and after literally digging them out
and making them bleed I covered them with duct tape and they went.

Re: Persistent child's verucca
Thanks ladies some good advice here. Have got some duct tape and she is duct taped up tonight! They are hurting her when she walks, and have tried pulling the centre out but it makes her cry.
I think if the vinegar stings this would be a no go, she seems to have a low pain threshold!
Amelya - your rct experiment made me laugh - we have been learning about those at uni recently! Yes we've also tried Salactol, just stinks to high heaven with no effect!
We tried putting a waterproof plaster on her veruccas when she went swimming recently and they just kept falling off! I think we will need to buy a sock, horrid things that they are, will try the talc trick I think!
I will persist with the Bazuka and duct tape and see what happens I think.

Re: Persistent child's verucca
I read last night that Bazuka works eventually, but it can take months of daily applying before it finally comes away. Let us know how you get on with the tape, I'm going to try it tomorrow night.

Re: Persistent child's verucca
Dd2 has a verucca that we spotted a week ago; this thread spurred me on and we've started bazooka tonight; it says in the pack 12weeks
so we will persist. Shall we do a regular verucca update and then get a paper published with stats on duct tape vs bazooka etc? I'm sure New Scientist would snap it up.
Today's progress; 1 verucca on ball of right foot of 4yr old. 1 application of bazooka - no change....

Re: Persistent child's verucca
That sounds good kitti, progress here with Bazooka is good- it's now a hole rather than a mound. Not sure when to stop though?

Re: Persistent child's verucca
Anyone had any luck with these remedies? I've been putting cider vinegar on mine each night under a plaster for the last two nights, I'm so fed up of it
Not sure if its working
I can never get duct tape to stay on!
