Re: Who is this Damsel on FB?
I am sure Damz will delete it. I am not enormously worried and I was partially joking* but I do think we really shouldn't be posting anyone's name without their say so. It has probably put a lot of people off joining the group.
*I would sharpen the axe, really.

Re: Who is this Damsel on FB?
I just got DH to log on and do a search and he couldn't see the Damsels group at all.
I beleive that you can just add friends, it's not managed as such so if we do want to keep this private, everyone has to be sure that they are inviting Damsels members only. Does that make any sense? I guess I can see how it *could* get out of hand if there was a big falling out etc.
I hope I haven't pissed anyone off by just inviting loads of Damsels/exDamsels to the group, I should have thought about it a bit harder. Sorry if I have annoyed anyone.xx Hermie xx

Re: Who is this Damsel on FB?
Absolutely makes sense. Does worry me that someone could click on a friend by mistake and add them, without them having to reply to an invite and therefore have the choice. There must be a way to create an admin, like with the last FB group it was Biker Queen and she had to invite people to join, kept it far more secure. Damz, can you do this at all?
J, you haven't annoyed anyone at all, we all have the option to leave the group if we're not happy with the set-up.
My first thought when viewing it earlier too!

Re: Who is this Damsel on FB?
A lot will have joined because I put them into the group IYSWIM, I added them - I knew they were Damsels and just went down the list adding them, so that's my fault, not theirs. That's what I meant when i said I should have thought about it more.

Re: Who is this Damsel on FB?
Yes if some adds you, you join automatically. They could un-join though.

No, not your fault at all J, I don't think it weird they were invited, rather that they chose to stay. I get invited to facebook groups regularly, if its something I have no interest in/time for, I leave! Just strange that people would choose to leave the forum, but not the group.

Re: Who is this Damsel on FB?
Hi there, I'm not really up to speed on this thread as I wasn't feeling brilliant yesterday so wasn't keeping up.
I will remove names from this thread. Also, could we stop inviting people to the group until I have set up an Admin and get to grips with the whole issue which is all new to me. Parkejm, could I set you up as Admin?
Got to do something now, will come back to this thread once it's done.Call me (Mrs) Damz
