    Re: Heartburn in pregnancy

All three of my babies were born with a great head of really dark hair, but I did not get much heartburn at all. Think I had it once with my pregnancy with I & can't remember much with the other two.
Everyone always asks after their born if I had lots of heartburn.

Both babies born with loads of hair and I had it both pregnancies. With DS1 I was miserable with it, drank gaviscon by the bucket load. With DS2 I had it from earlier but not as bad. Both times chocolate used to trigger it, so I would have my super duper sized bottle of gaviscon ready and waiting when I ate chocolate. Didn't occur to me to not eat chocolate!

    Re: Heartburn in pregnancy

Three children with a full heads of dark hair and lots of heartburn. Heartburn was much worse with the boys, apparently that's another old wives tale. I went through vast quantities of gaviscon but only the original/aniseed one, the mint ones made me heave. With dd i found that rice, particularly jasmine rice, was the one thing I could eat when it was really bad.

I've had it chronically with all six of mine, 5 baldies and can't see this one being any different.
Gaviscon makes me vom. I have munched tonnes of rennies.
