Barry M cosmetics vs Urban Decay and Hard Candy?

I like the look of this powder from Barry M: http://www.barrym.com/translucent-powder but not sure what their stuff is like now - I used to buy their nail varnishes as a teenager, but haven't had anything since.

Also, are their mascaras any good? Anyone tried them?

I'll spend more if I need to - I know Urban Decay have a good reputation and Hard Candy look good too (need animal-friendly suggestions).

I got one of the hard candy mascara's when I was in the states last month and it was dreadful, I actually threw it away it was so bad! It was one with lash extending fibres in.

I actually didn't know they still sold HC here as haven't seen it in years. I use to use it when I was younger and got all excited when I saw it in Walmart, where it is dirt cheap.

Have you looked at ELF (eyes, lips, face)? I think that's made by the same man that makes Hard Candy as an affordable range. I'm not sure what their animal policy is though.

I'll check out ELF when I've got a bit more time, thanks. I'd imagine they'd have the same policies as HC.

Will maybe steer clear of buying HC mascara if I get the chance after your experience, UTG. The UD ones seem to get good reviews anyway.
