Hi MrsB we've got a 53 plate Renault Megane Scenic. Looking at it I'd be very surprised if we could use a base. It's got the isofix on the seats but the floor looks dodgy
I read various websites that say you can put the leg in the bottom of the box instead but maxi cosi says you can't use the base in our car

Re: Isofix car seat bases.....are they worth it?
Hi Mrs B, apologies for not replying sooner but it took me a while to find the isofix instruction booklet

Not sure exactly what type of isofix we have- the book says the Maxi-cosi esyFix and our car is a 2002 VW Passatt.
I've stopped mentioning it to my OH as it was stressing him out! Sounds like a plan though to just use the seatbelt around the carseat.
Thanks!

Yes def worth it, I didn't have one for Alfie, don't no if they were about then but with having a c-section & the amount of times he was in & out of the car
I got one for Zach & it was a godsend so easy to put him in & out especially on the school runs
