Any recs for a hotel with a good kids club?

I am going to be going on holiday with DS alone this year. I don't want him stuck with me all the time, for him or for me so need a hotel with a decent kids club. He is 8 btw.

Any recs?

Have you considered a cruise, they have great kids' clubs. I don't unfortunately have any of my own but have been on cruises where you wouldn't know there were any children on the ship, they are so well catered for and usually have different age groups.
