wide fit shoes and trainers
Following on from my thread about casual shoes, I realise my feet are actually quite wide. I went to Go Outdoors yesterday to get walking shoes and a couple of them were far too narrow for me.
Have had a look today and see that New Look does a huge selection of wide fits (but these are fashion shoes - and lovely but I need everyday ones as I walk a fair bit), Next does some as does Clarks. I can't find any wide fit trainers, but suppose these are just fairly wide anyway.
If anyone can recommend any other brands that do good comfy wide fits that would be great. Also walking shoes as I'm really struggling with those....New Look have some lovely mules in dark blue but sold out!
I did look in M&S yesterday but none of the footglove ones appealed.....thanks ladies x

I'd recommend Merrel for tainers/walking shoes. Really good quality, they last me years anyhow.

I have hideously wide feet and find merrel too narrow, the widest I've found is Viking but I don't know if they sell them in the UK

Re: wide fit shoes and trainers
I had bought a pair of Merrels and been wearing them around the house, they are a bit narrow and a bit hard. My DH bought some last week and his are soooo comfortable, but I'm not wearing mens shoes! Thing is I'm narrow at the ankle.
I'll have a look at Viking, but I probably need to go to some more outdoors shops and try some different brands.
