Re: Where should we go on holibobs??
Thanks again everyone x Martin talked me into reconsidering a holiday abroad, so we have booked 6 days in Spain, 5 minutes from the Portaventura resort
problem we have, is that Jude doesn't have a passport....... Not a problem, thought we could get it in a day, apparently not! Takes 7 days if you have an appt. First appt we can get is next Tuesday, with the b/h's taken into consideration we won't get it until 2 days after we are due to fly - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!
We have gambled and completed an application form, sent it via PO check and send. Turnaround is usually 2 weeks but we know from previous experience it's normally quicker......god I hope so......Mum to 2 beautiful girls
and a handsome little man

I hope you get the passport back in time! Lovely that you're going abroad - everything will be FINE
Have they stopped doing the one-day passport service then
I thought you could do that if you prepared to schlepp to one of the passport offices and hang around long enough!

Good luck with the passport
We had a similar situation with Em when we went to Disney Paris and got in back in about 9 days.
Jedi Boy is 6, the Little Princess is 3....

Even with an appointment you have to wait 7 days - this if for first time passports anyway, I think Spandangley's was a renewal.
If it doesn't come in time one of us will have to stay home with Jude until it comes, then fly out. Not ideal

Oh yes, you're right! Argh how annoying...did you put your date of travel on the form? I'd chase them in a few days, wonder if you can pick it up from them?
