Re: What are you doing for the Jubilee?
I'm going to a Jubilee garden party at school (the kids are very excited about preparing all the food for the grown-ups themselves, so I shall dutifully eat some cucumber sandwiches) and I am having vague thoughts about having a BBQ on the Sunday. Mostly, I just want an excuse to put up bunting. I love bunting!!
(I would like Lucas to have good memories of it. I don't remember the Golden Jubilee at all--extra BH, so I was possibly at the pub?--and he was very cross that I didn't remember anything about it, so I now feel the need to make it memorable for him!)Lucas ~*~ 22.10.06

Re: What are you doing for the Jubilee?
Coming back from Legoland & visiting my sister, so on the Jubilee I'll probably be doing loads of washing and catching up on chores. DH is working.

Re: What are you doing for the Jubilee?
We hopefully have some friends stopping with us for the weekend and they are wishing to escape London (and the Jubilee) so nothing particularly patriotic. Maybe a BBQ at home one day and a trip somewhere local'ish to show them THE NORTH? We're leaving plans open.
Ava is doing Jubilee stuff at Rainbows and school so I don't feel the need to do anything special at home. I do have an 8m long paperchain to finish off though!
