So what's your opinion on The Voice?

Further to holly willoughboobys dress thread, what do you think to the programme itself?

I really enjoyed the blind auditions but am definitely not feeling the love for it now It just all feels like its been done and none of the contestants really stand out for me on the live shows.

Pretty much this. I had high hopes it was going to be something a bit different but it's actually become really dull. I'm not really sure what I was expecting to give it that difference but the whole thing seems padded out with boring interviews and the judges are getting really repetitive

They should have kept the whole thing blind, that way you really were connecting with the voice alone. Ive gone off it now, they whole singing contest malarky. Its all a bit dull.

I really do not get why Vince is still in it. I think he is rubbish! Well, he's a better singer than I am (that wouldn't be hard), but there were far better singers than him in the competition that have gone out and yet he is still here. I am getting bored with him turning every song into a reggae song too.

I was glad Aleks went on Sunday, I was getting fed up with him just standing there with his hands in his pocket. He looked bored with the whole thing.

And Ruth, I don't get what all the fuss is about her either!

I liked the live auditions but haven't really seen the live shows as DH hates these shows plus we were away last week and football was on this week

I like it, but then, thanks to not having ITV, I've not overindulged in talent shows, so it's still vaguely interesting to me. That said:

- The judges clearly made some bad choices for publicity reasons
- Either they have really shit stylists, or no stylists at all
- I am still baffled by the appearance of Holly on my screen, and in this show. She is offul.
- My Brother and sister-in-law are here this weekend, and I'm sorely tempted to get them to play The Voice bingo. Sadly, neither of them drink, otherwise it could be a really good drinking game.

Drink a shot whenever any of the following happens:

- Holly's voice goes all squeaky/croaky when she introduces an act
- Jessie J adjusts her ill-fitting outfit
- Will.i.am rolls his eyes and/or starts a sentence with 'So...'
- Tom Jones responds an overly lengthy question from Holly with "Yes"
- Danny does a fistpump and/or pulls this face:

What's bugging me is the whole Sunday night show that was actually filmed on Saturday, and the judges/whoever keep slipping up about? Why not just be honest and show the results on Saturday night, instead of dragging it out into a weekender?

I know, right? I like the way they all change outfits to keep up the charade. It's Strictly all over again.
