Anyone else having a purge/declutter?

I so need to do some decluttering

Might have a look at the hellhole that is the cupboard under the stairs later if I can find some motivation

I cleaned out the kids crafting box this morning, and just did a couple of tellitubbies etc jigsaws to make sure they are complete before I charity-shop them. Haven't done a jigsaw by myself in years!

I love a good clear out, makes me feel so good but haven't done one for a while. I need to clear out all my baby stuff in the loft and take it to charity. Will do that this week. And DD's room.

Yay!

Today I took a couple of binbags of old toys and junk to the tip along with most of Lucas's old bookcase. Couldn't get the uprights for it into my car, so I'll shift them to the garage tomorrow. (Smashing up the bookcase with a hammer was bloody good fun! I shall have to keep an eye out for the plate-smashing stall at village fetes this summer

) Hoping to take a few bags along to the charity shop tomorrow, too.

I'm hoping that it may boost my diet motivation as I need to sort it 3 ways

Bin /charity
Too small need to diet into (going under bed or all in one draw)
Fit and can wear

I fear the fit and can wear will be the smallest pile

Then rotate my shoe boxes as they are all muddled-boots and winter into one pumps sandals and flip flops into another

May do it in stages sort the bin/charity stuff then do a Monmouth trying session tomorrow night

I have behaved and done most of my clothes :-)

Big chest of draws sorted and now neat (with less in it!)

Wardrobe draws ditto above

I even went through underwear tights bras etc and had a clear out

Just left actual wardrobe bit and then shoes to clear down a bit then last thing for my stuff is accessories/gloves/scarfs etc

If I can finish tomorrow dh is home Wednesday and hopefully I can get him do his as his is worse!!
