    Bored of house selling

I know I'm being impatient - house has only been on the market 2 months - but where we live that's quite a long time. Lots of similar houses to ours sold over the easter weekend.

We had an apparently positive second viewing at the weekend but no offers yet. Bored of it - we've found the house we want to buy and just want to get going now.

    Rant over.

Big ((Hugs)). Moving house is always so stressful and demands oodles of patience....

We've been trying to buy for what seems like forever...not sure that's any better...especially when half of your stuff is packed away in boxes.

If it is taking a longer than average (for your area) time to sell your house, maybe you need to have a good look at the way the house is being marketed by your agent to make sure that they are showing your house in the best light.

Did this with my flat a few years ago, was on the market two weeks with the agent no serious viewers, had a big go at the agent and i redid all the pictures myself and rewrote all the house information - result, within two days had three offers on it.

I was very lucky and only was on the market for a short time but I also felt very impatient about it all. Its horrible to not know whats happening and when, especially when you have your eye on another property. I found it really stressful having to be "viewing ready" all the time as well. I hope you don't have long to wait

    Re: Bored of house selling

Thanks for this. We've had quite a lot of viewings - say 12-15. But no offers - comments have been about the street (not sure what that's all about!), the 'small' kitchen (not really small but it's not an open plan kitchen diner either), and that they don't like how we've done the extension. None of this we can change really! We dropped the price by £10k 2 weeks ago to see if that made any difference.

If you want the link to online details let me know and I'm PM you - and you can see what you think - don't want to post it here.

Oh tigerstripes, I did always think of you when I was moaning about the stress of moving and selling. I do hope everything goes smoothly for you

I have pledged to NEVER move again, it is SO stressful, I didn't believe it but it is. We'll just have to build more rooms!

It only takes only takes one buyer. Fingers crossed they'll be along soon.
