Reminds me of the physio. service here, who cancelled my appointment, then took me off their list as I 'failed to attend'

Yep Wss...happened to me to with a failed to attend that was them cancelling it! It must be computer systems...well you'd hope! Very frustrating for you though

No call so I called them back (like a dog with a bone me ) and they asked me to email over a copy of the letter, which I did. I have since received an email back saying thanks and it will be investigated. So I am giving them till tomorrow afternoon then I will be back on the phone

The cynic in me would say this is a deliberate way of getting numbers off waiting list statistics, and forcing you to become either DNA or failed to reply.
I had exactly the same a couple years back with DD eye appointment.

Working with hospital admin from the other side I find that some are gold dust, but some are like my solicitor friend's secretary who had to have it firmly pointed out that in legal letters,a missing "not" is pretty crucial.

I would be apoplectic if that were the case though I am sure its not. In the 5+ years Serena has been under AH I have never had anything but good service but you never know eh!

Oh what a 'mare, bloody systems eh. I've experienced something similar recently, being under 2 consultants seems to cause problems too. Hope they come back to you with an explanation very soon, and everything crossed that Seri is ok xxx.
