The end of Iron Man 2 is useful for the Avengers :-)

ALSO, watch Avengers right to the end of the credits, also Thor.

I loved The Avengers (loathe the re-naming in the UK. As if anyone would confuse Steed and Mrs Peel with Thor and the Black Widow!) Hopefully its success will light a fire under DC and we'll finally get a Justice League film...

Absolutely would love to see a justice league...that would be fab.

I loved it! I like a good superhero film and this one is cracking. I'd agree about seeing Thor first, at least.

I took my 5 and 8 year old and they really enjoyed it. The 5 year old did anyway, DD thinks it's for boys but did admit it was a lot better than she thought it would be. It doesn't stop her playing "Hulk, Smash!" with her brother either!

He had a mild whimper when Bruce Banner first turns into Hulk but that was it.

Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 are due out next year, with Captain America 2 planned for 2014. I guess that means no Avengers 2 until 2014 or 2015

Would be really good if Joss Whedon directed the next Avengers movie. I thought he did really well with this one!

I love Iron Man, however crap the film is, because Robert Downey Jr is so good. But I can live without the other two big lummoxes, Thor and Cap Am Although if they focus on Loki and Agent Elrond Schmidt (as we call Hugo Weaving in this house ) then that's all good!

I haven't seen any of those other films, but saw Avengers Amassed on my birthday last week, as DS2 took me as a birthday treat (lovely when your kids can do that ). I understood it ok, I didn't feel the need to have seen the others - although I did have to tell DS2 about the incredible hulk as he's never seen any of the programmes (he's 17). Definitely stay right to the end of the credits if you go and see the Avengers
