Any ideas what this might be?

A has got a really red patch in his bottom. It started on Thursday night and got worse yesterday but does look a tiny bit better today.

Its really red, with a few spots surrounding it but it also looks like its got sme purple/grey bits which look a bit like bruising. It's quite difficult to describe but just came out of nowhere and is a bit worrying.

I plan to call the doctors in the morning to see if I can get him seen tomorrow if it's no better but just wondering if anyone might have seen something like this before?

I can't see any wormy captures and it's def not nappy rash as its right in his bottom iykwim.

Eta it doesn't seem to be bothering him too much and not itchy although he did complai a bit when I changed his nappy today? He's also been drinking more but this might be just because the weather has got a bit better!

No, he doesn't seem to be struggling to poo, he's gone every day as usual.

Doesnt look like any of the ringworm pictures either - god sme f the were awful!!

I can't find anything on the 'net anywhere!
