You could try soaking in oxyclean, or applying a paste of it. Or rubbing with lemon and salt and leaving in the sun. It's probably not going to come clean, unfortunately.
Unfortunately the only thing that works properly is bleach.

I've got vanish, would that work? No sun here..been gloomy since the day I noticed the mould..gah!

two things that work are soaking them in vinegar (1 cup in a bucket of water) or washing with borax, add borax to hot water to dissolve it and then put it in the machine with the washing.

where do you get borax from VC? I used to get it from Wilko's but they stopped doing it...

Myzz I got some the last time at a Chemists - I think it was a Lloyds but am not 100% and there is a shop near me that has it, it is a sort of hardware store.
