Ebay - Postal Orders
Is there any reason not to accept postal orders for payment of an ebay item? I've had an email asking if I will take them.

Re: Ebay - Postal Orders
I don't take them because I don't want to have to queue to pay them in or cash them but I have done without problems in the past.
If you do agree to take one, make it clear it's at sender's risk especially if it's uncrossed as anyone can cash those.

Can you cash them at the Post Office or does it have to be at the bank?

Re: Ebay - Postal Orders
I have a feeling they can only be paid in at a bank whether crossed or uncrossed. A PO should cash them uncrossed but won't cash them crossed.

No idea if they were crossed or not, but I've always cashed them in at the Post Office. Just give them a few days to clear (5 I think) before you release the goods.

Re: Ebay - Postal Orders
I've always accepted them uncrossed and just cashed them in at the post office when I've been sending parcels. I actually miss them a bit
