Biting - could this be teething related?
Today Oren has been biting stuff. I wiped his mouth with a tissue and he grabbed it and pulled lots of bits off. I thought he was just playing. He's been biting the neckline of his t-shirt and has also bitten and pulled at my clothes too.
That was all fine until he bit Oscar
I'm pretty sure he was doing the same thing - pulling at the material with his teeth but caught a tiny bit of skin between his teeth, but of course it really hurt Oscar who was very upset.
Does this sound like teething behaviour at all? Or is it something more? Perhaps he just likes the feeling? Or is experimenting? It doesn't feel to me like it's malicious or borne of frustration etc.
Oscar never bit, and Oren hasn't up until today. I think his bottom canines are coming through but it's never affected him like this before. He's 19 months and has 12 teeth so far.
He's going to nursery tomorrow and I feel I should warn them just in case he nips any of the other babies.
Has anyone else got experience of something similar?
