Clandestine Cake Clubs

I just thought I'd share this as they're fab for anyone who loves cakes and baking. Has anyone else heard of them or been to one? It's a pretty simple concept - just a group of people getting together to share and talk about cake. I finally got the chance to go to one last month and I've never seen so much cake in one room!

I signed up to this a while back but haven't been to any meetings as there aren't any that near to me.

Sounds like a great idea, but I'm very put off by the fact that there are rules. For cake!? No pies/muffins etc. Surely all cake is cake regardless of form. Very restrictive!
