October half term holiday ideas

Looking for a beach/resort holiday. We'd like some warmth (high 20's, low 30's) maybe a bit of diving, calm snorkelling spots for the kids is a must, good food. Not Asia or America - maybe Mexico?
Any suggestions welcome.

We are going to Sensatori or the Holiday Village in Sharm for Oct half term.

I have it on good authority that you can still sunbathe and dive then.

We are doing sensatori in the canary islands in October with friends.

Its amazing, will be our fourth visit

Mexico is fab but might be rainy at that time. Canaries or Cyprus?

Eta I was thinking about that Caribbean side of Mexico, not sure about the other side...

I hadn't thought of Egypt will investigate that a bit more.
I wasn't sure which coast would be ok but would check before booking - west coast perhaps then?
How warm do the canaries get? We went to tenerife in march one year pre-kids and it wasn't warm - I was expecting it to be similar in October so had ruled that out.
Will check out cyprus too

I've been to Gran Canaria end November and it was mid 20's, definitly tanning weather, so October would be even warmer

Thinking of Morocco now, which would rule out diving/snorkelling. But it looks interesting, bit worried about potential hawkers though. We'll probably change our minds 25,000 times before we book anything.
