Expressing then feeding-milk supply for feed?

If I express then dd feeds an hour or do later will there be enough milk for her to feed on?

    Thanks

I'm not an expert and am doing this for the first time myself but I would say yes. I've been told there is always milk there. I've expressed then fed shortly after and DD2 hasn't complained!

There's always milk - breast are like rivers, not buckets!

If it's been a long while since a feed there will be 'more' milk (hence the heavy, full feeling), and there may be 'less' milk if you've recently expressed but there will always be 'some'. Hope that makes sense!
