Re: Bit more nappy advice please...

You could try getting in touch with tots bots. If you post on their Facebook page, they are normally pretty helpful. They might be able to tell you how to adjust the fit or something. I have easy fit v2s and I like them, they are my favourite nappy. I find them much more absorbant than my bumgenius nappies.

He's 15 weeks, 14lb. So a while yet on just milk - and still feeding at midnight and 4/5 am too.
Good idea to contact tots bots, thanks!

fold into a rectangular pad, place onto wrap, shove under babies bum.... from there on in it's just like putting an aio on???

I think my lunatic is probably like Faith's lunatics then or else we're just particularly handless because at that point the baby wriggles, or putting the baby on the pile of nappy disturbs the fold, or something, as you always have to adjust after getting it under them. I know some people line them up folded but they just come unfolded with us.

Though we find the shaped nappies leak less what with having elastic, as well as being easier to put on under a wrap (as they are already secured). But still not as easy as an AIO.

I think I got lucky in having such a still baby first time round - meant I got to be a pretty dab hand at it!! Plus having them all so close together as well - at one point I had 3 in nappies, so we had no choice but to get good at changing them quickly (we could do all 3 quicker than some people took to change 1 we found!!)

But I definitely agree with the terry squares/nippas for yourselves & a pocket-nappy for other carers as being the best option for cutting down on leaks (I made my own pockets for nursery - stuffed them all in advance, then all they had to do was change them!)

I liked happy heiny birth to potty pocket nappies better than bumgenius, mainly because my bumgenius ones just didn't last, the elastic and the velcro just died.....

for wraps and flats I really likes Bumpy wraps /Imse vimse) because they are so adjustable, however they are very 'breathable' and there is more wicking than with some other wraps with a v. wet nappy.

I used pockets for nursery and they were very happy with the happy heinys, they found poppers more of a challenge than velcro
