Selling event tickets on Ebay
Anybody got any experience of selling (or buying) event tickets on Ebay?
A couple of weeks ago, I bought 2 tickets for the Aegon Ladies Tennis Tournament (the warm-up for Wimbledon) in June. My friend, M, was coming with me but last week I, rather unexpectedly, got a new job .... working in the same office as M
It is very unlikely that we will both be able to take the same day off and, besides, I won't have as many holidays to play with this year now so we have decided not to go. I rang the ticket office but I am unable to get a refund or change them to the Saturday.
I've asked around locally but none of my friends seem interested, so it looks like Ebay may be my only option.
I won't receive the actual tickets until a week or so before the event but I guess it is OK to sell the "promise" of tickets IYKWIM
Any advice gratefully received

Re: Selling event tickets on Ebay
I've sold theatre tickets on Ebay but we had the tickets and included a photo of them. It was very close to the event so we had to make sure we sent them next day delivery, and you'll need to do that if you won't get them till the week before.
Double check they are transferrable, though, some event tickets aren't I know.
I'm not sure how it would work with payment for something quite a way ahead though as would people be willing to pay you now through Paypal, if they knew they wouldn't get the tickets for quite a few weeks and the deadline for a refund through Paypal had expired?
