Did you "spit" when pregnant??!

Nope but there was a girl on an episode of 16&pregnant that had spat into a cup throughout her entire pregnancy.

I once ran out of loo roll & very unsuccessfully had to spit into a container. It made me ten times worse tbh & I was sick as a result :vomit:

I'd never heard of it either BM. Even one of my experienced MW's had never come across it before or even heard about it, actually.

It literally stopped when I had Lilly. It took a long time to get used to not spitting.

I had ptyalism and that would have saved me a small fortune in loo roll. I physically couldn't swallow my spit for 8 months as my spit would make me gag & consequently throw up! Althought tbh I couldn't have used something like that

Same here when pregnant with O1. Not so bad in my other pgs but still I needed to spit a lot more than normal.

I watched that episode of 16 and pregnant, she had an old Pringles tub and spat into it constantly

I do have a lot more saliva sometimes, but don't think I could bear to spit into, and subsequently have to empty something like that!
