Funny things your kids say!
Tried to find the original thread but couldn't. Have to share these two conversations. Claire is 8, Amy 6.
Over dinner 2 days ago.
Claire: mummy I know you have to have sex to have a baby.
Me: what is sex Claire?
Claire: it's when a man and a woman take all their clothes off and cuddle.
Amy (eyes wide in shock): all there clothes, even their pants??
And today I overheard the girls talking at breakfast.
Amy: so if u cuddle two boys would u get two babies.
Claire: no you would get one baby but wouldn't know who the Dad was.
They grow up far too fast these days....

Mason (6) this morning.
"Mummy, what are you doing?"
"Putting face cream on."
"Why?"
"Because it makes Mummy a little bit more beautiful."
"Well, it's not working cos you look the same every day."
Thank you son. Bless him.

Re: Funny things your kids say!

After a trip to the Natural History Museum in London i asked my daughter M (4) what her favourite part of the day had been. She said "going on the pipe". She meant the tube

I've actually been writing down all the things they say that make me laugh and popping them in a jar. At the end of the year we're going to go through and read them all again

We have kept a few on DHs iPhone notes bit.
Dd1 us 7; "when I'm 17 and I can drive I'm going to borrow your car and take dd2 to the build a bear a workshop. We might meet boys that fancy us".
She has no idea what "fancy" means but seems a safe place to start.

While I was getting a shoulder of lamb ready for the oven dd2 (4);
"is that what the inside of a lamb looks like?" "yes"
Then getting more upset; "what would that lambs mother say if she knew the shop man killed her lamb? The shop mans really mean".
