C's cardiology appointment

I know i havent been posting very much lately but need a brain dump...........

We had C's heart appointment on Friday and it didnt go terribly well, he needs to go up to bristol in july for more surgery

I had stoopidly convinced myself that he was fine, he's lovely and pink, not breathless on the whole happy and that we would be told that all was well and come back in another year but no

it was the sugeon who did his original repair who we saw on Friday and he was bamboozled looking at the echo, his heart is much more complex than he remembered - thats reassuring

anyway you know when you are waiting for something and you prepare yourself for it but when it happens, your reaction is faff all like you thought it would be, well thats me. Poor C

And thats it, its just the shock. You will feel more able to cope when the feeling passes. Im sorry its not the positive result you wanted now, but the upside is that he is being closely watched, the problem hasnt been overlooked and that there is a plan to sort it. But sending huge hugs anyway
