Can anyone recommend a camp site near Derbyshire?

We're looking to go camping in Derbyshire in the summer. Somewhere we can cycle from & has tent pitches with electric hook-up points. A cafe/bar/shop on site or nearby would be good as would a play area.

Does anyone have anywhere they would recommend?

Hayfield is a lovely site with hook up, play area etc at the foot of kinder scout it's just down the road from me too ha ha Lovely walks and cycling, and a rather splendid chippy too ;) x

Obviously there are nice pubs and coffee shops too and in the peak district My parents just came back from Ashbourne the other day which is in central Derbyshire. Quite a bit to do too and also pretty.

Not sure what it's like as a site but it's pretty central to everywhere and a lovely village as well.

I can't recommend anything personally because we have only camped in Derbsyhire without EHU. But for the cycling, you may want to consider being near the Tissington trail, High peak Trail or the Monsal trail which has just been opened. I've heard good things about Callow Top, near Ashbourne.

We walked past one yesterday, near Birchover. No idea how good the campsite is, but it has alpacas! This may or may not be a selling point...
