Re: Do you and your OH/DH ever go 'out'? Just the two of you, I mean?
We do try to go out every month or two. It's hard to fit in, especially finding childcare for 4, but important IMO. I also go up and meet him for lunch/drinks after work every so often. It's nice to get dressed up and remember why you liked each other in the first place!
In the last couple of years, as DS4 is a bit older, we've gone away for a few days together occassionally and that is really nice. It's a mammoth operation organising it (involves PIL's looking after 2 and 2 at home with my Mum) but very much worth it.

Yes although not that often
I prefer going out more than OH ie clubbing etc still so go out with my best friend & he stays at home with the boys, he much prefers doing a golf day & having some beers with friends...
We go out together though when we can get a babysitter we use a girl that lives near us but she does quite abit of baby sitting... We go for a meal & drinks or cinema or something..
We are out with friends next month 2 x with friends for meal, drinks & a dance which im looking forward to as it has been years since i have years i think 2 xmas's ago that i went out clubbing with OH

Hardly ever, my Mum used to have the boys overnight very occasionally before we had DD but she hasn't since DD was born. We do go for lunch when the boys are at school if DH has a day off, but obviously we have DD with us. So, er, no!

We used to go out to dinner every Friday but didn't any more after Mr S was made redundant, maybe once a month, or to the cinema. We've been out once as a couple since Baby S came along, my mum was staying and she babysat.
We have had an early dinner out with Baby S in the pushchair a few times but that's not just us! That won't last forever I know.
I am thinking I'll see if one or two friends will trade babysitting, even if it's just for a couple of hours (it is easy to babysit Baby S in the evenings as that's his biggest sleep at the moment).

Re: Do you and your OH/DH ever go 'out'? Just the two of you, I mean?
Dh and I have been out together four times in the past seven years. One party, once to see Ed Byrne, one wedding and one curry night at a friend's place. It's a pita and expensive to get babysitters, and tbh, there's not much I want to do that's worth the hassle.
We do both go out on our own to hobby type things (him choirs and me watersports).

Now Rafi is a bit older and sleeps through pretty reliably, we're trying to make sure we have regular 'date nights'. We went for a meal on Thursday night, but usually I'm the one to go out on my own and Mr S stays in and plays computer games instead! We're lucky as the inlaws live in the same road and very rarely have any plans to do anything in the evenings.
