Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

Today I have been pretty good (so far, but I am heading to the pub in a few minutes, might be difficult to resist a glass of something!) and eaten two cereal bars, a bowl of chicken soup, one small choc chip muffin (this was clearly a mistake!), sausage casserole with a jacket spud and leeks.
This might not be a text-book WW-type day, but it's a damn site better than I have been managing over the last couple of weeks.

Yeah I ended up just making chunky guacamole and mixing the peashoots in to that, and dressed it with olive oil and juice of 1 lemon (for 2 people), it was yum, will definitely make that again.

Just made roast chicken soup with loads of veg in too so that will be my lunches this week, will mix through some chopped spinach when I serve it as I'm rubbish at eating my greens!

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

Why did I start this on the first day of AF

Am seriously craving chocolate or wine (or both). Have tracked everything, including the 1/4 sausage and couple of mouthfuls of mash that Em 'fed' me when the kids were having tea, and I have 150 calories left according to MFP but I think if I succumb to temptation it could be a very slippery slope...

This is what I'm like. As soon as I have a sniff of chocolate I crave more and more and more. In saying that I did have a limited edition chunky Kitkat today (couldn't resist - I am terrible) but I have still come in under my 1200 calories today.

I've walked about 6 miles today.

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

Can I join in too? I want to lose a stone by the time we go away in the summer. It's very optimistic because we go away in early June, but even half a stone would be a start. My bikini wearing days are long gone, I just want to be less bloated. DH has been on a diet since January and has lost a stone and a half. He has been so bloody righteous about it though, and guilt trips me every time I eat something bad. Exercise-wise, I walk about 5 miles a day with the pram (school run on foot) and I don't really have time to do any more with DS2 at home with me.

I've been starving all day today...

I lost a pound, first of many I hope. Think I'm going to weigh measure myself too as extra motivation.

Well done for the losses! I haven't weighed myself since last week but I think I'll take measurements and use those until I feel brave enough to weigh.
