Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

Me! I've done OK on WW but not stuck to it rigidly enough and I am paying the price. I would like to lose 1 stone by the end of the summer term I've not been able to run much with it being Easter hols but am determined to get back into it and just healthier eating. I am doing quite well with cutting down wine though and that helps!

Yeah, you've bought just 1 or 2 bikinis Janice!

Doing ok here, cut out most of the rubbish and some carbs, down 1 lb this week which I'm pleased with as its af time too. Feeling less bloated too, wheat and yeast are the main culprits there.

I'll join. I want to lose half a stone. I was doing great, then got ill, stopped exercising, upped work hours and lost my routine. Ready to start in earnest from Monday.

I'll join too. I am in competition with a friend to see who can lose 2 stone first. Not fussed about being the first tbh but hoping it will give me the kick up the arse I need to shift the weight. Sick of all my clothes being too tight.

I am following WW and this time I intend to follow it to the letter so should lose the weight if I put my mind to it.

Started last week and my weigh in is wednesday.

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

Me please. Have been losing slowly-slowly since Christmas but following a Primal Blueprint-type diet but need to ramp up the exercise and stop eating so much chocolate (thankfully it is 85% stuff).

I am doing the Moonwalk again in June so have to start building up the miles now that the holidays are just about over.

I want to lose 1.5 stones, preferably by mid August for my school reunion.

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

Last day of eating what I want here too although have been out and done a 5K run in the sunshine (to clear my head after last night's wine ). Off for a pub lunch in a bit and then will attempt to be 'good' from tomorrow.

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

I lost quite a lot of weight a few years ago, but last year started to put it back on I'd like to lose a stone roughly. I was 60kg, but that is quite a low weight for me, so realistically I'd like to be around 65ish kg. I'm hoping to lose about half a stone over the next few weeks and be back to target by the summer.

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

Okay, I have weighed myself this morning (after eating the last of the chocolate etc) - back on the wagon again now. I have gained a couple of pounds, so am still aiming to lose 9 -10lbs if I can).
    Starting... now!

I think I have chocolate in the house, so someone please PM me if I've not posted here tomorrow - I'm aiming to start (again) tomorrow. Motivation - I'm going away end of July and end of August, will see friends and don't want to look as elephant-like as I did last year

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

    Good luck everyone

Weighed in this morning and my goal weight is 15lbs away so I am feeling relatively motivated. Have started tracking on MFP and will see how it goes, before I decide whether to do that or go back to WW Online. Am thinking that I could probably track on both initially and see how they compare, but it might be a bit confusing....

Have also taken measurements so I can hopefully see results away from the scales - planning to re-measure in a month.
