Back from a night out. Stuck to vodka & diet coke most of the night but had a few WKDs towards the end. But have been so good on food so hoping it's not too detrimental!!

Plan for tomorrow is fruit for breakfast and salad for lunch! Let's hope the hangover let's me lol!

Oops well after starting yesterday technically at 315am I've reduced the quantity of chocolate left in the house and at a whole Easter egg-not a massive one was a buttons one so pretty small I'd say! No other biscuits or anything though and had a nice big bowl of fruit as a snack when ds had his

That's the sort of thing I do lisnic. Just try draw a line under it and carry on. Hard sometimes I know if I fall off a diet I end up thinking sod it and stuff my face lol.

I am was so craving an Indian takeout today. But have resisted!

Had fruit loaf for breakfast. Needed carbs this morning lol and fruit just wasn't cutting it! Had a 3 point salad for lunch and just had one of those lamb bistro pies from Asda with a mountain of salad. My willpower is being pretty good at the moment so I am making the most of it. Know it's alot to do with being in competition with my mate to lose 2 stone first. I don't know if I will win but I want it to be close lol.

Sounds like a good night pops!

Went out for lunch today, they only serve salads, pizza or pies and I had the nicest salad in there last week so splurged on a pizza. Prawn salad for tea to make up for it, but mrb is planning to fry the prawns

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

Well done ladies, very impressed with the willpower being shown here! I have been struggling today, but have managed not to snack on anything other than fruit. I am having a glass of wine tonight, but I am completely unrepentent after the week I've had (plus I was teaching this afternoon so I 'deserve' it!)

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

Dear me, I think my weekend away has been a bit of a diet fail! Too much wine and good food. But today I have done 12,500 steps and we walked some each day, so fingers crossed it's not been too bad overall...

Not done very well today Went to watch the marathon and ended up having lunch in La Tasca, lots of fried things washed down with a pitcher of Sangria. On the plus side I did a 5K run this morning and a reasonable amount of walking. Having soup for dinner and maybe a glass of wine...

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

I've gone off piste as it's the end of the month and we have very little healthy stuff in the fridge. I will start again on Thursday after we have restocked with WW friendly food!

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

I have no idea how I have managed not to give in to temptation today. Went out for lunch and shunned the pudding menu (despite the kidlets eating pancakes and ice cream). Then came home and baked banana muffins and trail mix bars for lunch boxes and haven't eaten a thing. May have to give in to a trail mix bar later, although they have more good stuff in than bad so I won't beat myself up Weekends are very difficult though, especially when you're eating out. Will be weighing myself tomorrow morning, have no expectations really so any weight loss at all will be a bonus.

Sounds like some of us have fallen off over the weekend lol but we all do it! Hope u can get back on it today.

I have stayed well within my points this weekend so feeling confident for Wednesday. I did eat 4 WW bakewell slices yesterday though but it didn't make me go over my points so don't feel too bad about it!

I can see I am going to get bored though as I am eating the same things each day so am looking for inspiration to keep the diet interesting!

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

Well and truely fell off the wagon Fri, Sat and Sun. Ate rubbish and drank too much. Back to the start, classing this as Day 1 - thinking about having a month off the wine....its too easy to make bad decisions either after a couple or the day after more than a couple when all you want is crap!

    Food plan for today is
BF: Belvita brekkie biscuits and an apple
L: Chicken arrabiata soup and a pear
D: sunday roast as we didnt have one yesterday
S: mango slices and a cereal bar - will try to not have them, but its nice to know they are there if I need em.
E: sit up dvd - intention is to do this EVERY day from now on - its only 10 min sections so there is no excuse not to be able to find 10mins!

Good luck to everyone 'restarting' after the weekend and well done to the ladies whose will power is alot better than mine was - hope you all have fab weigh ins!

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

    Good luck tomorrow, Mrs B!
I am back on the wagon again, no more wine till the weekend, and am not working till Wednesday so have time to meal plan a bit better (I've been working more or less full time for a couple of months, which has meant more ready meals than I am used to!)
I've also already achieved my 10,000 steps for the day, as I have been for a run with my best friend and we did the 5 mile route and ran about 2/3 of it. 12093 steps, in fact.

    Good luck tomorrow MrsB.

Just had some pizza & chips. Was in a rush tonight so got the kids takeout after swimming lessons. To be fair I probably had the equivalent of a small portion of McDonald's chips and about an eighth of a small pizza so not the end of the world. Just need to be strong for the rest of the day as once I slip up it can be the start of a slippery slope!

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

Good luck for tomorrow, MrsB! Will be thinking of you xx

I managed to get back on track over the weekend. I'm trying to keep my (very good) reasons for losing weight in mind whenever I'm near food. I think that I got a bit smug/complacent with my eating and also forgot just how addictive bread is for me. Anyway!

    B: Bulletproof coffee
L: Buttered cabbage with shredded up chicken thigh and loads of Italian herbs and chilli
D: Lasagne without the pasta. I am experimenting with sliced aubergine (roasted in the oven first to get rid of some moisture and add flavour) and some leftover chorizo & pork ragu. An Italian would faint at the very notion, but if this works then I see a lot of lasagne in our future. I'm going to sling some green beans alongside it.
Pud: Greek yoghurt with a dash of vanilla and a tsp of honey.

I also managed a little exercise today. My Wii-mote wouldn't work so I ended up with an aerobics DVD instead of zumba, but exercise is exercise and after a week of doing bugger all... it just about killed me!

Re: Anyone up for a summer holiday weight loss challenge?

Allana, what is bulletproof coffee? And no worries about the pasta-free lasagne, just call it melanzane and all will be forgiven!

    Today;
    B; latte
L; huge mixed salad with leftover carrots and small slice of cheese
    S; another latte
D; jersey royal, bacon and broad bean salad with tarragon mayo, some wine to help me sleep

And up and down 2 flights of stairs at least 10 times, that's gotta count for something!

Yup, that's the one and it is totally amazing.

Most UK butter is grassfed but very few companies bother to boast that on the label. Kerrygold is grassfed but I've never seen an unsalted version on the shelves so I just get Sainsbury's unsalted organic. I use my regular coconut oil rather than the specialised MCT (I think that's the name) he calls for. 20g butter + 10g coconut oil to a v.large cup. And it will be fine with sugar, Mrs B. I still haven't managed to wean myself off Splenda Oh, you do have to blend it to get it to emulsify properly--immersion is fine.
