What did you get your 1 year old for there birthday?

We have two - a small cow one (bought from noo noo) and a large ladybird one. The kids (4 and 6) still play on them most days. Absolutely worth the money (unlike most toys IMO).

What is the difference in size between the large and small donna? Bea is a very small 13 month old, so I suspect the small one will do for her!

We got them a pop-up tunnel and play tents from ELC, and those went down well - although buying for twins is quite different as they play with that sort of thing together. Also got Wheelybugs, but my two aren't that keen on theirs. Hopefully they'll decide they like them one day!

I think we mostly got books and clothes they needed, though - and a drum for Max and some other wooden toy for Zoe.

There is quite a bit of difference. TBH both mine fight over the wee one as it is faster

We got DS2 a scramble bug which he loves. He is just starting to be able to move on it but loves sitting and getting on and off

Also got one of the new bright starts activity tables which has a fab ball feature where you don't know what table leg the ball will fall down. Loves that too

Anna had a rocking Lotty the Ladybird from Mamas and Papas which was a big waste of money. Gorgeous, yes, and they both loved it over the years but I don't think they got £70 worth of fun out of it - I think we were just overwhelmed by our first child's first birthday and felt we should get something really special. I don't know if we actually got Elliot anything

. I definitely wouldn't spend much on a 1yo now though, there are plenty more years to buy them expensive presents that they'll really enjoy and remember.

A scuttlebug fold up trike, both of mine, nearly 6 and 2 use it every day still!
