What skin care products to start a regime??
Ok with just over 4.5 months until I get married & turning 30 6 weeks after

I need to start looking after my skin
I just use face wash & then baby wipes. I never moisturise my face nor body unless I have a spray tan
2 years go I bought clinique stuff used it sporadically lasted ages I no it does & found it good but then when I started having spray tans in 2010 I found that clinique stuff stripped my tan a lot quicker
Now the best products whilst a spray tan is on the body is simple products, I use there face wipes, well offer them out to my clients & I use there shower gel/face wash but no idea if they do the other skin care products like cleanser/toner etc
With hitting 30 need to start thinking about this......
What do you use/have you tried/do/don't recommend?
Not worried on price really I no it cost me £15 ish a bottle of cleanser & toner for clinique but lasted ages so I don't mind that.... But if the cheaper stuff works just as well il try that if anyone could recommend
What kind of skin care should I be following?
Face wash
Cleanse
Tone
Moisturise
Eye cream?...

Night cream and eye cream and a good moisturiser I would say are a must
I use a foaming cleanser like a wash then a toner rather than cream cleanser then toner
I like decleor products and also l occitane (blue range of bottles can't remember name!)
I like sanctuary body butter also
I don't have one brand I follow depends on how skin feels
I use clarins or l occitane foam cleanser
Decleor eye gel or l occitane eye balm
L occitance or elemis toner
Decleor clarins or l occitance moisturiser
I also use a decleor balm under my moisturiser it's like a little oil
I have a balm for any blemishes from darphin too
Night cream I like l occitane or clarins
I'm 30 in October too and find this regime does keep my skin good

Re: What skin care products to start a regime??
I started all this malarkey when I hit 30 as I'd not looked after my skin at all before then

I have come to love REN products as they are natural and I find they really great with my skin, pricey though but all last very well. I went for a facial that used their stuff and never looked back.
I use their foaming cleanser at night, I take my eye make up off with a wipe then wash my face and get it off with a hot flannel. I use oil on my skin at night, from belenos therapies who have loads of nice things on their website. i use the REN scrub a few times a week instead of the cleanser, it smells AMAZING and skin feels lovely afterwards.
I moisturise my body with oil (argan oil usually) after I have a shower.

Re: What skin care products to start a regime??
I've only really used Virgin Vie or Olay suff
I have the VV Night cream, eye gel, day cream with SPF, anti ageing day moisturiser, lip plumper, neck gel etc...can you tell I used to be a VV consultant, vit C cream
I tried the Loreal Derma Genesis but it just stayed on the surface of my skin & didn't sink in, basically my face felt sticky until I wiped it off & applied oil of Olay daily illuminating moisturiser.

Simple do cleanser & toner. They also do sun cream & facial sun cream.
To be honest, the more expensive products don't really do a better job than the cheap ones.

Re: What skin care products to start a regime??
Ive used elemis, Nivea visage and simple mostly. Cleanser, toner and moisturiser. Also a St Ives face scrub which I haven't used for ages but would probably do ms some good ATM.
Elemis is really nice - it smells lovely. There's not much between Nivea and simple IMO, but have recently gone from Nivea cream as a moisturiser to use that as a night cream and I'm using the Nivea q10 anti ageing spf15 day moisturiser which I really like.
I've used body shop too which is quite nice but I struggle with their ethical hypocrit-ness so I refuse to shop there and don't recommend them at all because of their fecking orang-utan poster! (sits on hands to prevent palm oil rant, I don't mind it so much when brands don't preach do-good ness).
