what would you call this
My sister ordered her wedding dress the other day, when she had tried it on it had a lovely ribbon belt which had a jewelled bit at the front. Little did she know this was extra until she ordered it and they told her it was an extra £175

It was basically a chuffin ribbon. I am trying to look for something on etsy or the likes but dont know what it is called, any suggestions? I am trying to find a piccie but it was along the lines of this one

Re: what would you call this
I had the same thing when I got my dress so my Mum had a good look at one while we were in the shop and made me one. Do you know someone who could make one?

This is a very good site for embellishments/ribbons and suchlike. I think I've seen Gok and Kirsty Allsopp use this store!

Website not great but if you could get to the shop it would be better.

Thanks ladies
I have pinted her to the wedding sashes on etsy and there are some beautiful ones on there for a lot less than the wedding shop quoted so she is bound to find something.
BM I hear of that shop so much but really have no idea where our nearest would be

There's only one VV Rouleaux and it's in central London. Their mail order service is very good, but they are pretty expensive. You might find a local habadashers/John Lewis sells lots of the bit you'd need to make something yourself or a local dressmaker might be able to help you out.
