Breadt feeding, teething & clamping down!
As the title says really Lilly is teething at the moment and my giddy she is really abusing my nipples
What can I do to try and help her get the message she can't do that, she is only 5 & a half months so still very young. I am doing the whole calgel/teething water filled toy and also she has a water bottle she chews on for long periods of time.
I do take her off, as & when she feels like letting go
Any advice or other teething tricks would be appreciated

Re: Breadt feeding, teething & clamping down!
Mine quickly got the message that if they bit they didn't get fed - quick finger in the side of the mouth to detach them, then being plonked unceremoniously on the floor with a firm "no" soon did the trick...

I saw 'NO, DON'T BITE' really loudly which shocks him.

Re: Breadt feeding, teething & clamping down!
I pushed my breast further into baby's mouth, which causes them to let go (in order to breath!!). I never said anything, I can't imagine they'd really understand.

Susanna has just started this, including the grinning! I took her straight off and she didn't get any more. Although today I think she was finished and just playing around.
DH has just started giving her a bottle, getting ready for me going back to work, and I think he lets her play with the teat :what:
