Boutique places for mother of the bride outfits, anyone recommend anywhere near me?

So my mum is starting to worry about finding a nice outfit..

She found one where I got my dress by the designer John Charles but the outfit comes in at £600 & on top she needs accessories & a hat. She does love it though & it would be worn again so wouldn't be a waste but it's such a lot of money...

She won't buy from the high street like coast, moonson etc in the fear someone else will turn up in the same thing I don't blame her I always worry this when attending a wedding

So she has now been thinking of a boutique shop where you can buy one of peices again the chance of her turning up in something the same as someone else is very slim.

I live on the south coast so looking for recommendations or ideas in

    Basingstoke
    Reading
    Salisbury
    Bournemouth
    Brighton

Anyone in these sort of areas?

    Anyone suggest anything

There is a place in Salisbury called 21B that has very MOB outfits http://www.twentyonebsalisbury.co.uk/ also there is http://www.hollyhockclothes.co.uk/ and if she doesn't want to buy a hat there is a place near Andover that does hat hire and I believe she does co ordinating handbags to hire too http://home.btconnect.com/tangleytitfers/

My friend had an outfit made for her daughters wedding by a local dressmaker/tailor. She looked stunning though I've no idea how much it cost.

Joanna this is another thoug of hers but she is worried again about the time frame we have 5 months to go, if she is going to have it made she doesn't want to leave it to long & then find she is out of time.

My mum paid 800 for her outfit and was stunning really stood out and was by a designer and the quality was gorgeous

Mob outfits can be sold on if she does spend more than she planned mum looked into this but not sure if she did

I remember my mum stressing over this, in fact it was more hassle getting her outfit than it was getting my dress.

Also a lot of MOB shops seem to cater for the older lady, lots of floaty chiffon in pastel colours etc, which was definitely NOT my mum!

My mum and I went to an amazing shop in Kent in the end and she found a stunning outfit, which was so her. Really chic and smart but not muttony! But it was a similar price to Lisnic's mums!! (and double the price of my dress!! )

Would Kent be an option? I can dig out the details if so.

I think there is a shop in Fareham called Davina's or something, I think that is where my mum got her outfit for my wedding from there. I think it is down the end by the bakers, or This Little Piggy shoe shop.
