It's taken over 4.5 years...but DH completed his PGCE yesterday!

He started in 2007 when I was pregnant with Betsy. He had a massive manic episode during this time, which some may remember was a pretty horrible time. He ended up being diagnosed in the March, and had to leave with just an 8 week placement to go.
After doing a Masters and 2 years of a P/T PhD, he decided to try and see if he could complete it. The head of education seems to have a soft spot for him, and pulled some strings so he could do the final placement.
He competed it yesterday and is now a teacher!!
I'm so so proud of him. He has had such amazing feedback and lots of hints that he should apply for the job coming up at this school from the head of dept etc.
Just thought I'd share

Congratulations - it's a really hard slog with a family to care for so I'm full of admiration for him (and you too!) Yay to no more studying
