Re: Arrrrgh! Stroppyness from eBay seller!
I've had a lot of help from the live chat facility on ebay, might be worth taking advice from them.

Thanks Holly, I just did that and it was fab - duly noted for any future problems!
(They told me I don't need to do anything further, the Resolution team will get back to me).

Re: Arrrrgh! Stroppyness from eBay seller!
You need to reiterate what you've said via the resolution process as ebay will review the correspondence between you.
Sadly I think you're likely to be stuck with the return postage costs though as she's being so unreasonable and you'll need to send it by a trackable method although if she's overcharged on the original postage that will offset it a bit and you can of course leave her stinking feedback with no effect on your own.
Always a bonus!

Oh ok, thanks J, I'll send off one more email taking the higher moral ground and remaining completely calm and reasonable

Yes I will enjoy leaving her feedback in due course that will piss her off, for sure!

Re: Arrrrgh! Stroppyness from eBay seller!
The last time I had an issue with something that was damaged when it was sent to me the buyer tried to fob me off etc, I got a full refund and got to keep the item that was broken, neither ebay or the seller asked me to send it back to them.

Re: Arrrrgh! Stroppyness from eBay seller!
Update time.
Seller continued to deny she was in the wrong, then yesterday I had a lightbulb moment that you could, if you looked carefully, see from her pic that there was no plastic toggle at the zip, you could only see metal, and if she enlarged the pic she would be able to confirm/deny this and resolve the dispute by sending me a photo of the enlargement.
Lo and behold a couple of hours later she mails that she has just taken a wash out of the machine and the tag is in the washing machine!
So looks like we'll be able to sort things out now she has admitted liability.
I've mailed her back saying I will return the jacket once she confirms she will pay all my initial costs plus return p&p, which I will charge at the same rate as she did.
If she had just sorted it nicely at the beginning I wouldn't be trying to sting her back on the p&p, but I feel it makes up for her being such a cow to me. Lesson learnt, perhaps
Meanwhile I feel all
for not having sunk to her slagging-off depths.
