Cheese board for a party - wwyd?
I am putting a cheese platter together for a buffet for a friend's birthday. So I am thinking a traditional selection such as a cheddar, Double Gloucester, a Stilton. I like Brie/Camembert but not sure whether I can find a British-type-equivalent
Alongside I shall be buying some Jacob's cream crackers and thins. And I want to get some bits to put with with it - chutneys, pickles maybe but I am not sure what. What would you take?
This all needs to be relatively easy to take to the venue and serve - so minimal decanting etc.
Thanks

You can buy English Brie, it's lovely.
Chilli jam is great with a mature cheddar.

Ballymaloe Relish, handful of fresh strawberries, grapes, a few baby cornichons/gherkins
and I'd also suggest a little Cashel Blue on the cheese side

Somerset Brie is lovely.
Cheshire cheese and Wensleydale?
Grapes, chutney - a caramelised onion/red onion one perhaps? Have you got a local farmers Market where you might get some local chutneys? Garden centres can be good for that.
I could just eat some cheese and biscuits now!
