Will upload a piccie later. Ive got a ticker

Cant believe Im nearly 13 weeks now eek!
Not sure about Doppler, Madwife be the lady to ask. I think it might worry me if I couldnt find anything. Plus arent they expensive? however, go for it if you think would be nice. If you found the heartbeat would be so lovely must admit. They dont try to find it until 16 weeks at Midwife.
Emmyloo, are you ok? Hope so

EW. Midwives advise women not to get their own sonic aid. I even mentioned to my midwife that I was thinking of getting one, and she said nooooooo even though she knows i'm trained to use one. I guess the trouble is depending on the position, size of baby, position of placenta and weight of the mother, it can make it easy or hard to find the heart beat ( sometimes i would get it straight away and other times it would take a few mins). If you'd be happy finding it one day, but not the next and knew that you wouldn't panic, then I can certainly see the appeal. SJ is right though in that midwives dont usually try until 16 weeks.
If you do decide to get one though, I'm happy to talk you through how to find it, and what a healthy heart rate should sound like.
Glad you're ok Emmy. When are you being scanned again?
I'm sick and tired of feeling sick and tired now. 11+1 today. Hoping it doesn't carry on til 19 weeks like the others

Hello, Ive tried to take a picture of my scan photo but due to the flash it doesnt work. Looks a bit like a blob anyway

Hope you are beginning to feel less sick now Madwife. I must admit Im feeling hugely better now. With my first pregnancy I was still being sick til 16 weeks. Does this mean girl or just different way my body is reacting I wonder. Who knows?!
We told our son and woweee
him so much. He is super excited and reacted so much better than I thought he would. He asks loads of questions and wants to know how many days (a lot
) to go etc. He is going to make a fabby big brother. Im so glad my DH changed his mind and we are fortunate enough to have another child all being well.
Emmyloo glad to hear from you.
